Stay alive. Stay useful.
A simple guide for new players on mc.zombiera.net.
Read top to bottom, or skip to the systems you actually need.
ZombiEra is not regular Minecraft survival with zombies on top. It's a custom survival experience built around atmosphere, world danger, progression, loot pressure, infected evolution, injuries, teamwork, and persistent systems.
The world is designed around the feeling of collapse: ruined cities, hospitals, military zones, bunkers, underground threats, infected variants, and a constant pressure to adapt. Live balancing, events, new systems, and gameplay updates keep the official server moving.

Loot routes worth running
| Location | Notable loot |
|---|---|
| Hospitals | Medkits, bandages, antibiotics |
| Military zones | High-tier guns, ammo, armor |
| Gas stations | Refill empty gas canisters |
Your body is one of the biggest parts of the experience.
| System | What to know |
|---|---|
| Thirst | Drains over time. Drink from pumps or canteens. |
| Stamina | Running and jumping drain stamina and can slow you down. |
| Bleeding | Requires bandages. |
| Fractures | Require splints. |
| Infection | Use antibiotics or a cure before it progresses too far. |
| Maintenance | Dirty rags can be cleaned in water to make clean rags. |
Recent server updates added a down state instead of instant death, teammate revives with bandages or medkits, improved stamina handling, larger canteens, and smoother combat balancing.
